A native of Norfolk, Virginia, Henry studied at Morehouse College and the Howard University School of Law before beginning his legal career in the Washington, DC office of an international law firm that promoted him to Partner in 2012 based on his work on a varied caseload involving complex commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and mass tort litigation.
He is, however, perhaps most proud of his work on behalf of the plaintiffs in The Coalition for Equity and Excellence in Maryland Higher Education, et al. v. Maryland Higher Education Commission, et al., a case involving constitutional challenges to The State of Maryland’s higher education policies and practices as they relate to its Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Henry resides in Washington, DC with his lovely wife, Lauren, a law school classmate, and their twin sons, Ezra and Eli. He is a proud member of the Theta Tau Sigma Chapter (Northern Virginia) of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and holds a Life Membership in the Morehouse College National Alumni Association.
